WHAT IT IS
Giordano Bruno’s trial records, the aristocratic Roman families private lives, the Vatican Secret Archives arcana, the ancient maps of cities and villages.
There is a way to get hold of these precious and curious documents: acquire the "property rights" of their restoration
HOW IT WORKS
1. THE EXHIBITION. The State Archive chooses from within its holdings documents that can attract the interest of Italians living in Italy or abroad and of connaisseurs and collectors worldwide. The documents are exhibited in groups of twenty in an online showroom on the website. Each document has a "restoration value", ranging from 50€ to 5000€
2. THE ON-LINE AUCTION. People, groups, associations and students exchange opinions, create a community and bid for the "property right of the restauration".
3. THE HIGHEST BIDDER is the
owner of the restoration". This property title is a document issued by the State Archive. It bears the reproduction of the title page of the document, a bibliographical note, and the name of the "owner". It is a unique document that can be collected, sold, or given as a present. The original document in the Archive will also carry an ex libris with the name of the "restoration owner".
